We focus on a-cappella (unaccompanied) works in a range of styles from "polyphony to pop" - drawing repertoire from Tallis and Byrd all the way to Harold Arlen, Sting and Kate Rusby. We've given first performances of new works by Grayston Ives, Goldie, Michael Nyman and Sean Doherty, as well as local composers and arrangers.
Our concert programmes have focused on charity fund-raising and we are proud to have contributed over £30,000 to local and national charities.
In addition to giving concerts, we have been involved in various projects over the years, working with Borders Youth Theatre, Historic Scotland's Fragments Project, DudenDance at Dryburgh Abbey and creating the Mozart-on-Tweed Festival in 2015.
Singing has taken us as far afield as the Isle of Arran, St Silas Church Newcastle, Cathedrals in Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Asaph in North Wales, Dunfermline Abbey, Brinkburn Priory, Romaldkirk in the Durham Dales and all the Scottish Borders Abbeys as well as dozens of churches and halls on both sides of the border in our home locality.
